This is one of those things that is so cool that there is really no reason why I should need to explain the coolness of it. For anyone who is reading this though and doesn’t quite understand, “the Story” is a short film made by Homer Groening, father of Simpsons creator Matt Groening. It stars Matt, Lisa and Maggie Groenig. The audio features Lisa narrating an imaginary adventure that she and Matt had in the woods to Maggie. The youngest Simpson Groening has just woken up and Lisa is trying to keep her from crying. Homer, who worked in advertising, then put together visuals to go along with Lisa’s story.
