Stephen Colbert Licenses The Hockey Theme

A number of GM workers were laid off in Oshawa. Our Canadian soldiers are risking their lives in Afghanistan. Gas prices are still rising.

Yet, all we seem to care about is the hockey theme; a 60-second jingle that opened up hockey broadcasts.

Seriously, what’s wrong with all of us?

I agree with Justin, Dwight and Adrian. I am happy Ms. Claman can finally have some closure. However, I still think CTV is full of crap. They don’t care about Ms. Claman or the “legacy” of the hockey theme. All they care about is the millions they’re going to make off the jingle.
