Patrick Stewart, Betty White or Morgan Freeman will record your voice mail message for $299

In a fundraiser for Autism Speaks titled “Sound Off For Autism” a number of golden voiced celebrities are donating the use of their voices. For $299 you can have a digital file of the message of your choice (up to 20 seconds in length) voiced by Patrick Stewart, Ed Asner, Morgan Freeman, William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, Betty White, Will Ferrell, Carrie Fisher, Tom Hanks or Derek Jeter (I know, doesn’t really fit, but still nice of him).

There are a number of stipulations that go with theĀ recordingsĀ  such as: they are not tax deductible, cannot be returned, are for personal (non-commercial) use only – so no you can’t get Morgan Freeman to voice your radio ad for $300 etc., – for full details see the FAQ.

Autism Speaks, the beneficiary of the funds is “the world’s leading autism science and advocacy organization, dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism“. More information about the organization can be found at autismpeaks.org.

The custom recordings are on sale from December 3-9, visit soundoffforautismspeaks.com.
