Toronto’s Ohbijou announced today on their Myspace blog that they have delayed the launch of the highly anticipated CD Beacons and signed a new deal with British label Bell Union. Congratulations to the band and I know I speak for every music lover in Toronto in wishing them the very best.
It is a little painful to see companies from other countries taking a slice of Canada’s greatest natural resource (artists) and largest remaining industry (arts and culture) but there are no protectionists round here.
